SEON, Yuno team up for fraud prevention, identity verification expansion

As APAC enterprises expand into new markets and adopt increasingly diverse digital payment methods, managing fraud risk is becoming a critical consideration for finance leaders.

While cross-border payment infrastructure enables businesses to reach more customers and streamline transactions, fragmented fraud prevention systems can expose organisations to financial losses, chargebacks and operational complexity.

For CFOs, the challenge is to support international growth while ensuring that payment security measures protect margins without creating unnecessary friction for legitimate customers.

Recently, SEON announced a global partnership with AI-native global payment and financial services orchestration platform Yuno to power the financial infrastructure of enterprise merchants, banks and wallets.

The partnership between the companies highlights how businesses are looking to integrate fraud prevention and identity verification more closely with payment infrastructure.

By making SEON’s capabilities available through Yuno’s platform, which connects merchants to more than 1,000 payment methods across 190 countries, the collaboration reflects a broader shift towards more integrated risk management as businesses scale internationally.

For enterprise finance leaders across APAC, this raises a key question: how can organisations measure the returns on fraud prevention investments while balancing transaction security, customer conversion and the cost of cross-border operations?
