IFS Capital unveils regional technology financing programme

IFS Capital unveiled a regional technology financing programme allowing businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand to fund their technology investment.

The initiative includes funding for hardware, software and services, under a single facility.

As businesses across Asia-Pacific accelerate digital transformation, corporate CFOs and finance leaders are facing the challenge of funding technology investments without compromising working capital or other strategic priorities.

With spending increasingly extending beyond physical equipment to software, digital services and integrated technology solutions, traditional asset-based financing may no longer adequately reflect how enterprises acquire and deploy technology.

Finance leaders must therefore consider funding structures that can accommodate the full scope of technology projects while maintaining financial flexibility and supporting long-term growth.

For CFOs overseeing technology budgets across multiple markets, the initiative also highlights the growing importance of financing solutions that align with evolving enterprise technology spending and regional business needs.

According to a press release, a key feature of the programme is its coverage of software and services alongside equipment.

The programme is established through an agreement between IFS Capital and the technology provider’s regional financing arm, setting out a common financing framework across the four markets.

Under the framework, the technology provider and its authorised channel partners may introduce eligible businesses to IFS Capital for financing, subject to IFS Capital’s assessment.
