Venture capital investment in Asia is seeing recovery in the first quarter of 2026, according to a study by KPMG.
The latest edition of KPMG’s Venture Pulse revealed that venture capital investments in Asia rebounds, with investment rising to $31.8 billion in the first quarter of 2026 from $26.2 billion in the last quarter of 2025.
This is driven by a number of large raises, including a $2 billion raise by Singapore-based DayOne. KPMG cites the geographic spread of these large deals, noting that this reflects the growing breadth and maturity of the venture capital markets across the region.
Additionally, Asia saw a funding climb to a 12-quarter high of $31.8 billion.
