A silver lining is an advantage that comes from a difficult situation. The COVID-19 pandemic is no exception. Yes, some businesses may have folded while others brought to the brink. But there are those that not only survived and thrived during these challenging two years but triumphed over adversity and even excelled to become champions of transformation and innovation.
It is the mastery over adversity that drove CXOCIETY and the editorial team of FutureCFO to search for these gems of inspiration – to understand key lessons and strategies that helped business and finance leaders rise above the occasion to lead their respective companies and teams to transform their organisations and in some cases their industries.
To be clear, the FutureCFO Excellence Awards goes beyond recognising the exemplary achievements of some. Also important is to draw from these experiences and learnings so that others may apply these to their organisations.
This year’s theme, Achieving Resilience Through Transformative Innovation, acknowledges the challenges that finance professionals have faced as individuals and team members in maintaining resilience throughout the pandemic and working towards sustainable growth for 2022.
This year’s awards feature nearly 40 shortlisted nominations in 18 awards categories that recognise Leadership Practice, Business Leadership, Operational Excellence or Technology Innovation.
In addition, two special awards will be given to SAP customers for Finance Transformation and Process Excellence as part of the SAP Transformational Awards category.
The winners will be revealed on 24 February 2022 during a gala dinner at the Conrad Centennial Singapore.
