Hong Kong-headquartered Rosewood Hotel Group recently announced the appointment of Kevin Yung as CFO.
In the past years, Yung was at the helm of Rosewood Capital Ventures in the role of Managing Partner. During that period, he also served as a strategic advisor to Rosewood Hotel Group, offering guidance and support across multiple areas of the business.
In his new role as CFO, Yung will oversee the financial operations of the Group's global brands.
He will retain his previous role as Managing Partner of Rosewood Capital Ventures, the group said.
Prior to joining Rosewood, he held several senior positions within the realms of finance and investment.
He was CEO of Chow Tai Fook Education Group (CTFEG) in Hong Kong, where he led the day-to-day management of the group, set its overall strategy, developed its infrastructure, integrated existing businesses and acquired two education companies that further expanded the Group's reach.
Yung previously spent nearly a decade in Beijing establishing his career in finance and investment as a senior executive at both public and private companies inclusive of major real estate funds and financial institutions.
He began his career in New York in the principal investment area, first as an associate at Morgan Stanley and later as Vice President at Citigroup.
