Pepperfry — an ecommerce furniture and home goods company in India —recently announced the appointment of Anand Batra as CFO.
In his new role Batra will spearhead the company’s corporate strategy, fundraising efforts, financial operations, as well as legal and secretarial functions.
Batra brings with him more than a decade of experience in venture capital, business management, financial planning and operations, fundraising, strategy, and investment banking to the new position.
This recent appointment marked the return of the CFO to Pepperfy where he had two different roles previously in category management for the home goods business and financial planning strategy.
Prior to this latest role at Pepperfry, Batra was an executive director at Z3Partners, a technology and digital Fund,
He also had a stint at IvyCap Ventures where he was a principal in the investing team.
