Hong Kong-listed Kasen International Holdings Limited announced recently that Mr. Peng Weijun has tendered his resignation as the CFO with effect from 28 September 2020.
The company said Peng would like to devote more time on his other personal commitments.
Kasen is currently in the course of confirming the appointment of a candidate in replacement of Peng.
During the transitional period, Ms. Zhou Xiaohong, an existing vice president and executive Director, has also assumed the role of CFO with effect from 28 September 2020 until the appointment of a new CFO.
In the CFO role, Zhou is responsible for the overall financial management of the group, in addition to duties she has as an executive Director.Â
Aged 51, Zhou joined the Group in 1995 as the cashier, treasury manager and vice president of the Group. She is currently the vice president of the Group in charge of the treasury operation, information centre and organisational promotional work.
Singapore-listed Pacific Star Development Limited recently appointed Liaw Wee Tong, aged 45, as group financial controller.
Liaw in this position is responsible for the overall financial accounting and reporting function of the group’s business.
