OCBC bank has announced the appointment of Goh Chin Yee as the new CFO.
Goh, 57, will replace the current CFO Darren Tan who became the CFO in 2011 and recently opted for retirement. Goh’s appointment will take effect from Nov 1.
Goh joined the bank as a management trainee in 1988 and was named head of group audit in 2013, having stints across different divisions in the bank including corporate planning, investment research, asset management, risk management, and global treasury, OCBC Bank said.
In the past, she introduced data analytics, machine-learning technology, and RPA in the bank to improve its risk insights and audit efficiency, the bank added.
"The management executive committee will undoubtedly benefit from Chin Yee's deep institutional knowledge and broad exposure across many disciplines," said OCBC Bank group chief executive Helen Wong.
