Citi has named Anand Sairam as CFO for Asia Pacific, according to media reports citing an internal memo.
The memo, according to finews.asia was confirmed by the bank’s spokesperson.
Based in Singapore, Sairam will lead the Asia Pacific finance team to manage financial performance and reporting, strategy and planning, and maintain controls for all Citi businesses in the region.
Sairam has been with Citi’s finance team for eight years. His latest role at the bank before the promotion was Asia’s regional head of financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
He was also involved in exploring partnership opportunities, identifying new customer segments, and improving client experience.
Prior to joining Citi in 2014, he held investment banking roles at Nomura Securities and Deutsche Bank.
