RISE Education Cayman Ltd, a junior English language training provider in China, recently announced that Warren Wang will assume the role of the CFO effective December 1, 2020.
Wang’s predecessor Ms. Jiandong Lu has decided to resign from her role as the CFO and director as of November 30, 2020 due to personal reasons, the Nasdaq-listed company said.
Lu will remain with the Company until December 31, 2020 to ensure a smooth transition.
Mr. Wang has extensive experience working in senior finance roles, the company added.
Before joining the Company, Wang served as the CFO of Tujia, a short-term lodging rental platform, where he was in charge of the finance, legal, procurement, reporting and compliance, investment and financing and administration matters, and the CEO of Ant Short-term Rental, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tujia.
Singapore-listed Tee International Limited has recently appointed Ng Kok Peng as CFO.
Aged 40, Ng was previously CFO of KTL Global Limited from Mar 2015 to Jan 2020 and CFO of Ley Choon Group Holdings Limited from Nov 2014 to Feb 2015.
