Janel Everly

Janel Everly is a senior director analyst at Gartner, who covers ESG, Sustainability, CFO Personal Effectiveness and Future of Work enquiries from Finance leaders. She is an executive advisor leading global sustainability initiatives with CFOs and Controllers that drive measurable business results while reducing costs and driving revenue through ESG programs. She is a steward of practical ideas and advice while helping enterprises improve corporate performance and value creation.

In previous roles she defined the alignment of ESG programs with the corporate strategy and advised on the strategic direction and ambition level. She managed CDP and TCFD environmental disclosure reports through stakeholder interviews, surveys, and streamlined data collection and verification while establishing a governance structure to manage company-wide ESG spend in partnership with Global Operations. She also developed GHG Inventory Management Plans in preparation for annual limited assurance of greenhouse gas emissions calculations.

She is an FSA Level II candidate and a LEED AP BD+C accredited professional.
