Ronald Wong is Financial Accounting Advisory Services Leader and Partner at Ernst & Young LLP in Singapore. He provides clients, including Singapore companies, US multinationals and US SEC foreign private issuers, with technical accounting advice on complex transactions under the Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards, and the US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
He helps businesses to reengineer and integrate their finance processes and controls, as well as incorporate technological tools to enhance efficiency and reporting insights. His past projects involve finance and accounting process gap assessment and implementation, identifying automation and advanced analytics opportunities, and post-merger integration of accounting standards, processes and policies.
Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Melbourne. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a Certified Practicing Accountant with CPA Australia.
