Digital bank and payments processor Maya and Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines are launching a new digital initiative in a bid to modernise the way payments and financing are managed.
The initiative, which seeks to make it easier for business owners within the Pepsi-Cola distribution ecosystem to collect payments, access capital, and streamline day-to-day operations through Maya's all-in-one digital banking and payments platform, will be rolled out across Pepsi-Cola's nationwide network of over 200,000 distributors and retailers.
The system aims to reduce risks tied to cash handling, such as theft, collection delays, and misreporting by reconciling transactions in real-time.
Maya's solutions will be integrated into Pepsi-Cola's Distributor Management System (DMS) to create a connected, end-to-end financial infrastructure that supports everything from collections to inventory financing, according to a press release.
