Nasdaq-listed online Chinese real estate platform Leju Holdings Limited recently announced the appointment of Li Yuan as its CFO and the resignation of its acting CFO Li-Lan Cheng.
According to Leju, Cheng was appointed acting CFO after the former CFO of E-House (China) Enterprise Holding Limited — the parent company of Leju — passed away on Feb 16 after a prolonged illness.
Ms. Li has served as Leju's deputy chief financial officer since June 2017.
Prior to that, she had been the head of investor relations of E-House (China) Holdings Limited, E-House's and Leju's affiliate company, since November 2008.
Li received her master's degree in business administration from Johnson & Wales University.
