The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) renewed its memorandum of understanding with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the Philippine Association of Management Accountants (PAMA) for another three years.
Under the agreement, which has made way for new employment opportunities for accounting, finance, and business professionals and given employers in Philippines access to a wider talent pool, PICPA members are allowed to become CIMA members, subject to passing the CGMA Professional Qualification Strategic Case Study Exam.
Candidates will also need to meet the practical experience requirements to demonstrate their competence and experience in the workplace.
According to a press release, PAMA will run the programme locally in the Philippines, supporting candidate registration and progression.
